Job description:

Qatar Biobank is seeking a part-time Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable and possess a strong work ethic, dedication, innovation, and strategic planning skills. As a key member of our finance team, the Accounts Receivable Associate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports.

Responsibilities: - Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports - Contact customers to follow up on outstanding invoices and arrange for payment - Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies - Prepare and distribute invoices, credit memos, and statements - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all receivables - Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues and improve collection processes - Prepare monthly reports on accounts receivable performance - Assist with month-end close activities as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable - Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Detail-oriented and organized - Hardworking and dedicated to achieving results - Innovative thinker with strong strategic planning skills
