Job Description - Office Manager

Job Description:


Al Jazeera Media Network is seeking a motivated and resourceful Office Manager to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This is a part-time entry level position ideal for candidates with at least 1 year of experience in office management. The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office and ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage office supplies and inventory, including ordering and restocking as needed. 2. Organize and schedule meetings and appointments. 3. Maintain and update company records and databases. 4. Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance. 5. Supervise administrative staff and divide responsibilities to ensure performance. 6. Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures. 7. Create and update office policies and procedures as needed. 8. Handle customer inquiries and complaints. 9. Assist in onboarding new employees and provide training and support as needed. 10. Ensure office equipment is properly maintained and serviced.


Requirements: 1. Proven work experience as an Office Manager or similar role. 2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software. 3. Strong organizational and time-management skills. 4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. 6. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field is preferred. 7. Motivated and resourceful personality traits. 8. Adaptability and people management soft skills. 9. Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles. 10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
