Account Support Assistant - Remote Work

Job Description:

Qatar Aeronautical College is seeking a dedicated and confident Account Support Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a remote work position, allowing for flexibility and convenience for the right candidate. As an Associate Level role, the Account Support Assistant will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and providing support to the finance department.

Responsibilities: 1. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes 2. Reconcile financial statements and ensure accuracy of data 3. Prepare financial reports and analysis for management 4. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records 5. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes 6. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the finance department 7. Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues 8. Support with ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as needed

Requirements: 1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance 2. Confident and dedicated individual with strong attention to detail 3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team 4. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software 6. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
