Job Description - Account Support Specialist

Job Description:


Katara Hospitality is seeking a reliable and independent Account Support Specialist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As an entry-level role, this position is ideal for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.


Responsibilities: 1. Provide administrative support to the accounting team. 2. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks. 3. Prepare financial reports and analysis as needed. 4. Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions. 5. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes. 6. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes. 7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system. 8. Liaise with vendors and clients regarding billing and payments. 9. Assist with audit preparations and inquiries. 10. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding financial transactions.


Requirements: 1. 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance role. 2. Reliable and independent work ethic. 3. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks). 6. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 7. Creativity and problem-solving skills. 8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
