Job Description - Contact Center Associate

Job Description:


Qatar Steel Company is seeking a Contact Center Associate to join our team in Doha on a part-time basis. As an Associate Level position, the Contact Center Associate will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a customer service or contact center role, as well as the following personality traits: reliability and resilience.


Responsibilities: 1. Answer incoming calls and respond to customer emails promptly and professionally 2. Resolve customer complaints and issues with a focus on customer satisfaction 3. Provide product information and pricing to customers 4. Process orders and returns accurately and efficiently 5. Maintain customer records and update information as needed 6. Collaborate with other departments to address customer needs and concerns 7. Meet or exceed performance metrics for call quality, resolution time, and customer satisfaction 8. Assist in training new hires and providing feedback to improve team performance 9. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, company policies, and industry trends 10. Use analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in customer service processes


Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. 4+ years of experience in a customer service or contact center role 3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills 4. Ability to work under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism 5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail 6. Ability to negotiate and de-escalate conflicts effectively 7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software 8. Reliable and punctual 9. Resilient in the face of challenges and setbacks 10. Must be able to thrive in an energetic and rapidly evolving work setting
