Remote Live Chat Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Remote Live Chat Manager to join the Al Jazeera Media Network team. As the Remote Live Chat Manager, you will be responsible for managing the live chat platform on our website, ensuring that our audience receives timely and accurate responses. This is a part-time position with a mid-to-senior level of seniority, requiring a minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: 1. Manage and oversee the live chat platform to ensure seamless communication with our audience. 2. Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the live chat system. 3. Train and mentor live chat agents to provide exceptional customer service and support. 4. Analyze chat data and metrics to identify trends and insights, and make data-driven decisions to enhance the user experience. 5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging across all channels. 6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in live chat management.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field. 2. Proven experience in managing live chat platforms, preferably in a media or news organization. 3. Motivated and confident personality traits with a strong focus on customer service. 4. Strong strategic planning and analysis skills to drive decision-making. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 6. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 7. Proficiency in using live chat software and tools.
