Communications Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Communications Specialist to join our team at Qatar Museums in Doha. As a Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our organization's communication strategies and objectives. This is a part-time position ideal for someone who is looking to gain experience in the field of communications.

Responsibilities: - Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies, including social media, public relations, and internal communications - Create and manage content for various communication channels, including press releases, newsletters, and website updates - Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns and initiatives - Support the coordination of events and promotional activities - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and messaging - Maintain relationships with media contacts and stakeholders - Assist in crisis communication management as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field - 1 year of relevant experience in communications or a related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Confident and reliable with a high attention to detail - Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and independently - Knowledge of strategic planning and cooperation - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with social media platforms - Experience with graphic design and video editing software is a plus
