Pr Associate - Work from home

Job Description:

Qatar Electricity & Water Company is seeking a part-time PR Associate to work from home in Doha, Qatar. The PR Associate will be responsible for managing public relations activities and building strong relationships with media outlets, stakeholders, and the public on behalf of the company.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the company's reputation and visibility - Write and distribute press releases, articles, and other materials to communicate key messages - Monitor media coverage and respond to inquiries from the press - Organize and coordinate press conferences, events, and other PR activities - Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers - Collaborate with other departments to ensure PR activities align with overall business goals - Analyze PR campaigns and prepare reports on their effectiveness - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in PR

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field - Minimum 2 years of experience in PR or related field - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders - Resourceful and reliable with a proactive attitude - Strong people management and decision-making skills - Ability to work independently and prioritize workload effectively - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PR software/tools - Experience in the energy or utilities industry is a plus
