Inviting applications for the role of Accounts Payable -  Assistant Manager - Service Line Subject Matter Expert - English

In this role, you will contribute to innovative, strategic projects impacting data, process, technology, and people, such as: diagnostics, operating model and end-to-end process redesign, digital transformations, etc.

Example of projects/role facets: (1) blueprinting; (2) maturity assessment; (3) operations support for the accounts with AP scope; (4) consulting/transformation projects

Responsibilities

Responsibilities in client-facing projects (list below is not exhaustive):

  • perform AP process end-to-end detailed understanding, mapping and maturity assessment, understanding of linkages with other accounting streams (e.g.Order to Cash, Record to Report)
  • design target operating model for operations centralization and transition
  • identify process transformation and improvements
  • design/Assess functionalities/Contribute to the improvement of digital tools
  • define/implement SLAs & KPIs
  • run risks assessment and propose mitigating actions

Responsibilities, internally, as a member of the AP Service Line Team:

  • contribute to AP knowledge management framework and assets, e.g.: industry specific nuances, best practices, case studies creation and release, benchmarking, etc.
  • provide subject matter expertise as part of the product development initiatives

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

Domain and digital expertise/experience required:

  • extensive understanding of AP end to end process with reasonable understanding of linkages with other finance & accounting streams as well
  • exposure to technologies relevant for AP (e.g., hands-on experience with any of the major ERP platforms, Workflows implementation, RPA, etc.)
  • contributor/Lead in transformation projects (e.g., process re-design & transition to BPO/SSC, digital implementations: SAP 4 HANA, Ariba, Tradeshift, Coupa, Oracle, Cora AP flow, SAP VIM, Opentext, Concur, NLP, RPA, etc.)
  • awareness of IFRS, GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley and other domain and industry specific policies and regulations
  • Relevant years of experience in roles of progressive responsibility, in relevant domain and companies (preferably Consulting/BPO/SSC)
  • University degree (relevant studies)

Other relevant skills:

  • Overall, able to integrate within a multicultural and multidisciplinary internal team (e.g.: frequent connects: Digital, Transition, PMs, Change Managers, Ops., etc.)
  • Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Organized person with attention to details, able to work simultaneously on different tasks
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to handle client on one-on-one basis, via e-mails and calls
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels both Genpact and customer organizations
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Very good problem-solving abilities and innovative approach
  • Energetic personality with a positive, enthusiastic attitude
  • Knowledge sharing and coaching skills: candidate should be willing and able to coach and help (when/if required) less experienced team members (junior SMEs)

Language skills:

  • English C1 level (writing, speaking, reading, understanding) is must have

  • Any language other than English is nice to have
