Job Description - Insurance officer - Urgent Position

Job responsibilities:

1. ensure that all assets owned or financed by the Employer have adequate insurance and compliance with the employer's policies and procedures in force at any time.

2. require and obtain from the clients and insurance companies the necessary documents and information for drawing up insurance offers, completing/extending insurance policies, checking the validity of the insurance policies, checking the insurance policies, checking the insurance files.

3. to complete all the necessary documentation in the relationship with the insurers, as well as in the relationship with the clients of the employer and third parties, to (a) issue of insurance policies, and (b) collect insurance files.

​4. verify all insurance policies issued by insurers (if signed in full and legal manner, if insured goods are correctly indicated, if required insurance conditions are correctly reflected, etc.).

5. to monitor the solution of the cases of damage and the collection of damages, constantly planning with the insurance companies and where appropriate the authorities competent to settle the cases of damage and cash-taking.

6. to introduce insurance policies in the database, to emulate and transmit to clients’ requests for payment of premium insurance/premium accounts, in accordance with the insurance policies and internal procedures of the employer.

7.contact the insurance companies to inform the damage, to open the cases of damage.

archive all documents/correspondence in the customer files.

9. provide advice to the employer’s clients on the different issues raised by the insurance policies concluded for the leased/credit assets.

10. to compile reporting on the insurance portfolio, etc.

in accordance with the instructions received from the Operations Manager.

11. to establish and maintain a good relationship with the insurance companies and, when they are required by the Department Manager, to participate in the negotiation, conclusion, and amendment of the contracts of the subordinated agent and insurance protocols, etc.

12. to cooperate closely with the relevant departments and/or service providers to collect the amounts due and carry out payment of insurance premiums.

13. identify needs and propose solutions to improve technical support (IT/software).

14. to know, comply with and apply the legal provisions specific to the activity of bank insurance and insurance in general and to be kept up to date with possible legislative changes, ensuring compliance/permanent implementation of legal conditions in its activity.

15. protect the assets and the public image of the organization.​

16. cooperate with the other departments of the Employer, respond, and resolve their requests in a timely manner.

17. participate in the courses organized by the relevant institutions, to obtain the necessary certificates and authorizations legally required for the position of insurance officer and to keep them in place.

18. In accordance with all the rules, regulations, and internal procedures of the employer and the written and/or oral instructions (including, but not limited to, the electronic correspondence) received from the manager directly and/or Director-General, including the operation

1. Studies:  Faculty in economic/ legal and course in Bank insurance/insurance.

2. Seniority in specialty:

Minimum 3 years

3. Other conditions:

Competence:

Technical and business knowledge:

- general knowledge of the products and services of the Employer

- Legal knowledges related to insurance

- IT knowledges: MS Office.

- English – average or advanced level,

Skills:

- organizational capacity.

- capacity to relate to other persons.

- logic thinking, ability to anticipate changes

- negotiating skills.

- capacity for communication and persuasion.

- spirit of observation.
