DescriptionAbout this opportunityEricsson is the leading mobile communications manufacturer driving global 5G journey. Our factory (around 600 employee) in Timisoara is the main factory, where production of 5G Antenna technology takes place for customers around the globe. As a CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. Your role will involve interpreting technical drawings, setting up machines, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the finished products.What you will do Install and set up CNC machines based on job specifications and technical drawings.Load raw materials into the machine and secure them properly for machining.Load CNC programs into the machine control unit.Understand and interpret G-code and other programming languages.Choose appropriate cutting tools and adjust tool offsets.Replace tools when necessary and perform routine maintenance.Monitor CNC machines during operation to ensure proper functioning.Conduct regular checks on tool wear, machine performance, and product quality.Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.Make necessary adjustments to maintain product accuracy.Identify and troubleshoot issues with CNC machines.Collaborate with maintenance personnel for repairs and adjustments.Record machine settings, tool changes, and production data.Complete production reports and maintain accurate records.Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating CNC machines.Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.Coordinate with engineers, programmers, and other team members to optimize production processes.Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.Participate in discussions on process improvements and efficiency enhancements.Offer insights and suggestions for optimizing CNC machining operations.You will bring High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in CNC machining is a plus.Proven experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role.Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.Knowledge of G-code and CNC machine programming languages.Ability to perform machine setup, tool changes, and adjustments.Strong attention to detail and precision in work.Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy materials.Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for machine operation.Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise and machinery.Benefits:Christmas, Easter and vacation bonus – total amount of 2500 Ron net;Meal tickets – 35 Ron/ day;Transportation bonus - 240 Ron/monthMedical insurance (Allianz Tiriac): free membership for employee;Vacation days: 25 working days /yearPay date: 20th day of next payment monthIn case of travel, daily allowance, transport, and accommodation will be paid according with EAR’s travel policy.Why join Ericsson?At Ericsson, you´ll have an outstanding opportunity.
