REPORTING TO: Global Mass Uploads & HC Planning Lead

ROLE SUMMARY

This role, part of the GBS HR Organization supporting the Global HR function, will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and managing updates on Employment Profiles and Position Management within the Global HR management tool, SuccessFactors Employee Central.

Responsible for the efficient and accurate execution of routine operations and project-based activities, on a regional and global level, within the Global Workforce Management function.

Responsible for resolving service requests related to Employment Profile and Position Management, and for developing answers to complex queries from employees or HR managers within their area of expertise.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Conducts activities related to mass updates of Employment Profiles and Position Management within the Global HR system, following established procedures.

Applies existing work procedures and suggests improvements or updates to instructions to improve the delivery of services and solutions for staff administration and data management, both globally and locally.

Acts as a project member for various HR projects and initiatives, representing GBS HR

Adheres to BAT standards for data management and security, verifying data against relevant policies and compliance requirements.

Ensures data confidentiality and carries out the necessary security restrictions on human resources data

Engages with domain experts to continuously improve the eye for business and data understanding, while working towards improving data quality, usage, and upload processes.

Tracks personal performance against service standards to ensure support and services are delivered in line with agreed service levels and established performance indicators. 

Oversees available resources to ensure timely and accurate completion of employee data update projects. Manages stakeholder expectations and offers technical expertise to team members.

Recognizes and implements improvement opportunities within assigned role parameters in data management, processing, and related process flows within their area of responsibility.

Monitors the implementation of identified improvements carried out by internal and/or third-party technical teams to enhance governance and bolster HR data integrity.

Responsible for testing and implementing new tools/systems as well as updating them at the request of internal customers, including testing and training tasks

Escalates identified technical issues to internal and/or third party technical teams

Manages data privacy following established security/confidentiality standards

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

Experience in using information systems in the field of personnel administration

Experience in project management Able to operate effectively in a matrix organisation; previous experience working with international teams and projects

Able to draw conclusions and provide recommendations, prepare presentations and effectively describe the problem or proposed solution.

Awareness and experience of applying data governance and data rigour - understanding of GDPR.

Very proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel

Knowledge of Alteryx Designer and Server and, Microsoft Power Apps is a plus,

Experience in using HRIS systems (SuccessFactors is a plus)

Knowledge or previous experience in the field of human resources

Advanced level of the English language

Stakeholder management skills, including interpersonal, influencing, communication and presentation skills

High level of organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
