Accountant

Our client an Accounting firm, based with their office in Sibiu, is looking for a skilled and proactive

Accountant to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record various entries including accruals, salaries, taxes, fixed assets (FAR), and expense advances.
  


• Review and validate all expense reports.
  


• Conduct monthly checks to ensure the accuracy of accounting records.
  


• Oversee and validate cash registers and bank statements.
  


• Ensure the accuracy of accounting records and perform monthly account inventories.
  


• Assist the Chief Accountant with monthly closings.
  


• Prepare detailed breakdowns for financial reports at the end of each month.
  


• Submit monthly declarations to ANAF.
  


• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  


• Carry out other tasks assigned by management, specific to the role.
  


• Stay updated on the latest legal requirements and accounting practices.
  

Requirements:

• Professional qualification in Accounting and/or Finance.
  


• At least 3 years of experience in accounting.
  


• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and operational processes.
  


• Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  


• Proficiency in English.
  


• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
