Accountant I

Prepare and complete financial transactions (AR/AP/GL/Fixed Assets/Interco/Address Book/Banking etc.) timely and accurately according to accounting processes and procedures. Analyze general ledger accounts for accuracy, extraordinary or unusual items. Prepare weekly and month end journal entries to ensure accurate account balances. Work on special continuous improvement projects as requested to resolve problems or generate productivity improvement Requires a Bachelor's degree. Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; a Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred. Two (2) years of related experience is required; One (1) or more years of equivalent industry experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered. Excellent math skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Excel JDE and FAS experience a plus Able to work independently and in a team environment Problem solving skills General office equipment and materials Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment.
