Job Description - Affiliate Manager

European fast-growing Gambling company is looking for an experienced Affiliate Manager. Being part of an in-house digital team of specialists, you will be responsible for all activities aimed at bringing business to the company through Maxbet the affiliate partnerships.


The affiliate manager is responsible for managing the affiliate program for the Maxbet Malta company. This includes recruiting new affiliates, maintaining relationships with existing affiliates, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.


As an affiliate manager, you will need to have strong people skills, as you will be dealing with a lot of different people on a daily basis. You should also be organized and detail-oriented, as you will need to keep track of a lot of different data points.


The affiliate manager is responsible for the management and growth of the affiliate program. The affiliate manager will recruit new affiliates, build and maintain relationships with existing affiliates, and develop strategies to grow the affiliate program. The affiliate manager will also be responsible for creating and managing affiliate marketing campaigns, analyzing affiliate performance data, and troubleshooting affiliate issues.


The ideal candidate will have experience with affiliate marketing, performance marketing, and the betting/casino industry. They will also be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Your role will contain following responsabilities:


· Analyzing data and statistics to identify emerging markets and opportunities for our products


· Generate reports on affiliate performance, highlighting successes and areas for improvement


· Reviewing content on affiliates websites and channels to ensure it is appropriate for our brand


· Negotiating contracts with new affiliates or renewing existing agreements with existing partners


· Creating proposals for new affiliate relationships based on estimated returns on investment (ROI)


· Monitoring affiliate websites for fraudulent activity or policy violations such as spamming or publishing confidential information


· Monitor affiliate activity to ensure compliance with terms of agreements and company policies


· Communicating with partners to answer questions and resolve issues with their affiliate accounts


· Build and maintain customer relationships in order to understand their needs and business priorities


· Maintain open communication with all affiliates on the day-to-day issues


· Communicate with new and existing affiliates regarding upcoming promotions and optimization opportunities


· Manage business negotiations with customers, ensuring that company interests are represented


· Handle business deal tracking, monitoring, closing, and other related activities as needed


· Coordinate with various teams to address affiliate needs in accurate and timely manner (Marketing, Financial, Legal, Product, CS, VIP etc.)


· Define project approach, timelines, deliverables for any type of campaign


· Overview development of creative promotional materials and strategies to encourage higher levels of participation from affiliates


· Recruit new affiliates by identifying opportunities and reaching out to potential partners through research, referrals, networking, cold calling, data feeds and emails


· Develop business strategies to improve affiliate program


· Stay current with trends in affiliate marketing and identify new opportunities


· Develop, execute, quality review, submit, circulate, and/or approve IAS documents


· Manage projects within established timelines, business requirements, operating objectives, corporate and Line of Business standards, and clients needs


· Responsible for major parts of the month closing process and preparation of account summaries when appropriate


· Manage affiliate payments, issuing timely commissions based on agreed-upon terms


· Stay up-to-date on all products and services offered by the company to be able to effectively promote them to affiliates


· Attend relevant conferences and networking events to build and maintain relationships with existing and potential affiliates


· Perform any other duties as assigned by management, including reporting tasks


· Develop a comprehensive understanding of specific law and legislations within the domain of activity of Maxbet


What you need to know for this position:


· Proven 3+ years experience in the digital marketing field


· Experience in a gambling/betting company, social gaming or similar niche is mandatory


· Experience in creating and implementing Affiliate business strategy


· Deep knowledge in different performance indicators of digital marketing as well as main business metrics


· Proactivity and willingness to take full responsibility for results


· Knowledge of Excel, Google Analytics, Tableau or other BI systems, Adjust or other App trackers
