AM Supply Chain Engineer Packaging

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Aftermarket packaging systems optimized for protection and presentation;

• Collaborate worldwide across cross-functional teams (development, sourcing, manufacturing).

• Conduct feasibility and cost analyses;

• Analysis of Supply Chain Systems and potentials;

• Drive Aftermarket Supply Chain Process Improvements.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, such as Packaging, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials Engineering or a comparable technical education.

• 2–5 years of packaging engineering experience, preferably with automotive or aftermarket exposure.

• Experience with tools like SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD are preferred.

• Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office exist.

• Designing and testing packaging, prototyping and ensuring compliance with industry or customer standards.

• Familiarity with packaging materials (paper, plastics, foams), containerization, warehouse/transport processes, dunnage, and design-for-transport efficiency.

• Work closely with supply chain, engineering, logistics, quality assurance, purchasing, and external vendors.

• Manage small projects and bill-of-material components; coordinate NPI (New Product Introduction) packaging requirements and supplier deliverables.

• Ensure packaging meets IATF, ISO and other regulatory standards.

• Drive cost-saving, Lean, and value-stream efficiency in packaging operations.

• Fluent in English both written and verbal.

• Analytical mindset for process troubleshooting, cost analysis, root‑cause investigations, and performance optimization.
