Role description:

This role will form an integral part of our Global Excellence Centre (GEC) – Arcadis centralized and fully integrated project delivery group. Our GEC is made up of more than 3,000 talented individuals working in offices across Romania, India and Philippines, providing Capability, Capacity and a Competitive Advantage across a wide array of unique projects and services, in collaboration with our global businesses.

Arcadis' Romania office is seeking an experienced Architect to join our dynamic Workplace team, contributing to a range of high-profile projects. In this role, you’ll oversee architectural design and technical development, ensuring that our workplace solutions meet the highest standards of quality, innovation, and functionality.

Role accountabilities:

• Perform a role in accordance with Arcadis behavioral framework.


• Take responsibility for your own safety and understand Arcadis Health and Safety Principles.


• Act as a project resource, completing allocated activities to meet budget, timeframe and quality objectives and meeting or exceeding client expectations. 


• Review your own work to ensure that it meets specified standards before being checked by others. 


• A strong technical mindset is the core of this role.


• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure the integrity of project interfaces. 

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in architecture or interior design.


• 3-5 years of experience in architecture or interior design work.


• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and BIM workflows is required. Revit project experience is a must.


• Revit add-ins is an advantage.


• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Enscape, Twin Motion, Dynamo is a plus.


• Workplace sector experience is a plus. 


• Fluent in written and spoken English is essential.


• Ability to contribute to the team’s digital initiative and automation of processes.


• Familiar with international design codes, particular to US and/or Canada is an advantage.
