Adecco is recruiting for its client - a manufacturer and distributor of ice cream and frozen consumer products present in six European countries, a Sales Supervisor for Satu Mare.

Reporting to Area Sales Manager
Mission:
LEAD and manage the dedicated sales teams effectively, meet and exceed sales targets, nurture customer relationships, implement successful sales strategies, monitor performance, contribute to the company's growth and success.
Business Objective:
Increasing sales & market share, managing teams & dedicated areas effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and the team development.
Responsibilities:
Key challenges we anticipate:
Managing a team working with a diverse range of small retailers, each with unique needs and expectations.
Traditional retail can be highly competitive, so staying ahead of competitors and maintaining or increasing market share is essential.
Ensuring that product availability at stroe level matches demand while avoiding overstocking or waste.
Coordinating the distribution of seasonal products like ice cream in traditional retail settings can be complex.
Understanding and catering to local consumer preferences is critical in traditional, non-organized retail.
Monitoring performance metrics for the sales team to ensure targets are met and exceeded.
Candidate Profile:
Key Qualities we are looking for:
Leadership & team management
Problem-solving skills & strong “hands on” approach
Efficient communication skills including generous listening
Knowledge of Romanian non organized retail market, knowledge of modern trade and/ or local key accounts is an advantage
Sales and Negotiation Skills including key drivers for sell-in & sell-out, in-stroe execution build up
Customer Focus
Ability & Willingness to Analyse & Use Data
Sales Strategy [specifically for Areas Sales Manager]
Key experiences we are looking for:
Prior experience in sales and retail, particularly in FMCG sector. This could include roles as a sales representative, account manager, or related positions.
Proven experience in leading and managing sales teams, including setting targets, providing coaching, on-job training and evaluating performance.
Familiarity with the dynamics of traditional trade channels and non-organized retail, including relationships with small retailers and local channels.
Demonstrated success in negotiating favorable terms with retailers, securing prime shelf space, and increasing sales in traditional retail settings.
Experience in analyzing market data, identifying growth opportunities, and adapting strategies accordingly.
