Associate Software Engineer (UI) - Flutter UKI, Hybrid

Role Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is eager to start their career in Web software development. You will be part of a team of 6 engineers working together to deliver various functionalities for our brands ecosystem.

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:

• Experience with Web Development programming languages Javascropt, HTML, CSS, etc.
• Understanding general design patterns for Web
• Good grasp of what a REST API is and it's place in the innerworkings of web ecosystems
• Some level of knowledge around build tools
• Familiarity with JavaScript testing tools (e.g., Jest, Enzyme, Cypress)
• Good understanding of version control methodologies
• Experience as an employee or freelancer in delivering projects is a plus

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within your team to deliver features as defined by the Product Owner
• Develop and maintain JavaScript code
• Work closely with QA to ensure functionality meets requirements and is bug-free
• Develop code using Preact and Node.js
• Follow coding standards and ensure performance alignment with Google Web Vitals
• Extend and maintain APIs
• Create and update documentation
• Work with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins)
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality
