ROLE INSIGHTS

As part of our Finance Transformation initiative, we are seeking a functional-technical SAP MM S/4HANA consultant to provide expert guidance and ensure the consistency of end-to-end solution integration.

You will work closely with the project team, actively participating in the implementation and deployment phases of the S/4HANA Finance project. The primary objective of this role is to take ownership of the SAP MM solution, overseeing its implementation while ensuring alignment with the client organization and relevant project stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in business workshops during the design phase of the future Core Model to ensure end-to-end integration of the S/4HANA Finance solution;
• Adjust and update MM configuration based on outcomes from business workshops;
• Manage communication and collaboration with stakeholders and development teams to ensure alignment;
• Draft detailed functional specification documents in English;
• Provide support during the MVP go-live phase;
• Participate in the definition and execution of the Master Data and Data Cleansing strategy;
• Contribute to the planning and execution of the integration, testing, and data migration processes;
• Bring digital expertise to evaluate and enhance proposed solutions from the Product Owner, ensuring consistency with industry standards;
• Advise on potential improvements to the Product Backlog and support prioritization with the Product Owner;
• Understand and prioritize Technical Stories and Defect Stories proposed by the development team;
• Provide clarifications on User Stories to the development team during sprints as needed;
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team collaboration and delivery.

Requirements:

• Strong business analysis skills with the ability to gather, document, and analyze business requirements effectively;
• Experience in modeling business processes within the new  system based on SAP S/4HANA;
• Hands-on experience with system configuration in S/4HANA;
• Expertise in Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes and inventory management;
• Solid knowledge of EDI, intra- and inter-company flows, and Material Management (MM) master data;
• Good understanding of MM/FI integration;
• Proven ability to work within an Agile environment, following Scrum methodology;
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to effectively share and transfer knowledge to team members and stakeholders;
• Practical understanding and application of Agile methodologies in project delivery.

Skills:

• Successful experience in an implementation or deployment environment ERP S4HANA;
• Knowledge of the Procure to pay domain on S4HANA;
• Knowledge of SAP PO and BTP (Business Technology Platform) would be a plus;
• Team player attitude with a sense of synthesis and attention to details; 
• At least 2 years of experience in Agile projects, especially digital projects;
• Very good level of English.
