You’d need to hire a team and drive the team towards achieving technical excellence through mentorship, professional development, and effective communication.
Most important, encourage a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
What you will do:
- Spend 50% of your time on hands-on backend development, crafting robust, scalable solutions
- Dedicate 50% to team leadership, mentoring, management and driving project success from idea to deployment
- Run team ceremonies, setting daily work goals, ensuring smooth work flow and reaching the goals agreed with the Product organization
- Lead, supervise and motivate employees, perform regular 1:1s with each member of the team
- Organize work process, coordinate and control work actions, ensure the work quality and that tasks are performed on time, including initiative delivery schedules being observed
- Be responsible for the team to understand and follow processes and technologies

- 3-5 years back-end development experience
- Minimum 1 year experience with leading a team
- Fluent English
- Strong knowledge about agile development methodologies
- Excellent Golang and SQL knowledge, unit testing, integration testing, security testing for code
