About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team, playing a key role in the development and evolution of software solutions aligned with business needs. You will be involved across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within an Agile environment, collaborating closely with the local architecture team and supporting the Product Owner in key decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand, analyze and translate business needs into actionable insights and deliverables.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and relevant stakeholders to refine and break down business requirements.
• Manage and prioritize items in the product backlog relevant to your functional domain.

• Ensure clarity, completeness, and quality of business requirements.

• Design and propose improvements to business processes.

• Transform business needs into well-defined user stories, complete with effort estimations and clear acceptance criteria.

• Draft functional documentation and test cases, detailing required changes or enhancements to existing applications.

• Validate that delivered solutions effectively meet business expectations.

• Identify business impacts resulting from proposed solutions and contribute to mitigation/action plans.

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain close alignment with Product Owners.

• Provide ongoing support to development and QA teams to ensure implementation aligns with functional needs.

• Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, fostering a

  collaborative and informed team environment.

Your Profile:

• Degree in a technical or related field.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in COBOL programming.

• Solid knowledge of Mainframe environments (JCL, DB2).

• Skilled in drafting functional and technical specifications and assessing impact on existing systems.

• Experience designing and executing test plans.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

• Good English and French skills.
