Job Overview

Responsible for the installation, commissioning, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Surface Wellhead and Christmas Tree (XMT) equipment at customer locations and operational facilities.

Working closely with customers, field supervisors, engineering teams, and workshop personnel, you will help deliver safe, high-quality, and on-time service while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence. This role requires resilience, a hands-on mindset, and a willingness to perform physically demanding work in operational field environments. 

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and remove Surface Wellhead and Christmas Tree (XMT) equipment;
• Support Wellheads and Xmas Trees (XMT) projects for New Energy applications, including Geothermal, Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), and Hydrogen developments;
• Support drilling, completion, workover, intervention, production, abandonment, and well maintenance activities;
• Perform pressure testing, leak testing, function testing, and commissioning in accordance with approved procedures and technical specifications;
• Assemble and disassemble equipment using correct tooling, handling methods, and torque requirements;
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and operational issues and support effective corrective actions;
• Ensure all required tools, equipment, consumables, and spare parts are available and verified before mobilization;
• Complete equipment inspections and maintain accurate service reports and technical documentation;
• Maintain compliance with company and customer HSE requirements, Permit to Work (PTW) processes, and quality standards;
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Required Technical Skills

• Technical Diploma, vocational qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent education in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Hydraulics, Maintenance, Oil & Gas, or related technical discipline;
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Surface Wellhead and/or Christmas Tree equipment;
• Experience supporting drilling, completion, workover, intervention, production, or wellhead maintenance operations;
• Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, hydraulic systems, valves, sealing systems, and pressure-containing equipment;
• Experience performing pressure testing, leak testing, function testing, and troubleshooting activities;
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics, technical procedures, and equipment manuals;
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence;
• Ability to work safely in field environments and at heights when required;
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required;
• Availability to support operations within and outside of Romania in Europe region and Turkey.

  Preferred Skills

• Experience with casing heads, tubing heads, tubing hangers, gate valves, actuators, and related wellhead equipment;
• Knowledge of wellhead installation, intervention, and maintenance practices;
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
• Customer-focused approach with strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Experience working in multinational and multidisciplinary teams;
• Familiarity with HSE requirements, risk assessments, and Permit to Work (PTW) systems;
• Ability to work independently while recognizing when support or escalation is required;
• Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously develop technical expertise.
