We work with customers across 28 countries from 10 VOIS locations: Albania, Egypt, Hungary, India, Romania, Spain, Turkey, UK, Germany, Ireland, and with a network of teams in Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, and Portugal About this Role We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to support and enhance DevOps and DBA functions within Infrastructure Management. This role is pivotal in ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of database systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining software tools, automating recurring tasks, and contributing to the design and implementation of new solutions. The role also involves incident resolution and performance monitoring to meet agreed service levels What you will do Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase ASE in a production environment. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring optimal performance and availability. Develop scripts and programmes to automate routine tasks and enhance system functionality. Participate in the design and implementation of new database solutions. Collaborate with service owners to meet performance indicators and service level agreements. Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Operate within Agile methodologies and manage tasks under tight deadlines. Who you are Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase ASE. Familiarity with MySQL, MongoDB, or Apache Cassandra is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Experience in database support for over 2 years. Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities. Effective communicator with good documentation skills. Proficient in English (minimum B1 level). Not a Perfect Fit?
