Your Mission

We are seeking a Finance Officer to join our growing international team. This role reports to the Finance Team Lead based in Iasi, Romania.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting and operational activities for Nuvei companies (mainly the Netherlands) – including but not limited to booking accruals, prepaid expenses, invoices, bank statements, monthly closing JEs, maintaining trade payable/receivable ledgers, etc.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing process by performing balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations, etc.
• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant reports and various analysis to management, on request.
• Participate in statutory/group audits by preparing the reports or gathering the info requested by internal/external auditors.

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• 3+ years of professional experience in accounting/finance, and a deep understanding of accounting rules and principles.
• A result-oriented person, focused on getting the job done, optimistic and open to learning new things.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and complex organization.
• High attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel skills ( Power Query knowledge is a plus).
• Good command of English (spoken and written)

• Experience in multinational environment.
