Be fully responsible for front desk operations during the night shift, ensuring that the highest level of guest service is maintained while running the front desk efficiently; Update data and financial reports closing the accounting day; Audit client accounts to determine the accuracy of rates and market codes; Record the hotel nightly rate as well as all fees charged to hotel guests; Check guest checks for price and sales errors; Check the balance of the revenue of each shift; Check the sales figures of the Food & Beverage department; Be aware of the duties of the reservations department; make reservations if necessary; Prepare the payment notes for express check-out and correcting calculation errors in existing notes; Show initiative, be responsive to guests needs; Maintain a positive work relationship with colleagues, and offer support for difficult situations; Deal effectively and promptly with guests' problems with common sense, tact and diplomacy. Our most successful Front Office Night Supervisor is someone who has:
Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing); Proficiency in English; knowing a second foreign language represents an advantage; Previous experience in hospitality industry, especially in the Front Office area; Computer skills and ability to use standard software applications, knowledge of Opera represents a plus. Strong problem-solving and effective decision-making skills; Strong leadership skills; Ability to acquire and maintain relationships ., employees, guests.
