Job Description - Functional Test Lead (ID: 2719)

As a Functional Test Lead, you will:
  • Lead and coordinate testing activities within the BSS (Business Support Systems) domain.
  • Develop comprehensive Test Strategies and Test Plans tailored to specific project requirements.
  • Compile detailed reports and graphs on the status of testing, to be shared with both business and IT stakeholders.
  • Present test results and findings to business stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross -functional teams to ensure testing requirements are understood and met.
  • Utilize automation tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Conduct and manage test exit meetings, ensuring all issues are resolved and providing clear documentation.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • Minimum of 5 -7 years of experience in a testing or quality assurance role, with at least 3 -5 years in the BSS domain.
  • Proven expertise in developing and executing test strategies and test plans for complex systems.
  • Strong knowledge of various testing methodologies, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
  • Experience with testing tools such as Jira and X -Ray.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret test results, providing clear, actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present technical information to non -technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing and leading testing efforts in an Agile or Scrum environment.
  • Proficiency in utilizing automation tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage
You should possess the ability to:
  • Effectively lead testing teams and manage testing activities from start to finish.
  • Develop clear, concise, and comprehensive test strategies and plans.
  • Gather, organize, and present test results to a variety of audiences, including business and IT stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross -functional teams to identify and resolve issues throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, ensuring efficient and high -quality results.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, with strong time -management skills.
  • Conduct test exit meetings, facilitating resolution of issues and ensuring clear documentation.
  • Utilize automation tools to increase testing efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve accuracy.
