Job Description - Global HR Communication Specialist

Job Description

  • As part of GS/COM team, you are responsible for leadership communication and marketing activities on a global level;
  • You develop and implement concepts and measures for effective communication with one of the main target groups at GS and ensure a transparent communication on all hierarchy levels;
  • You will work closely with our GS-BV and top management and align with our international communication network in order to ensure target-group and regional specific implementation of defined measures;
  • In cooperation with those responsible for the topics leadership marketing / employer branding (GS/HRX, GS/HRG, GS/MBS), you will develop core messages and target group-specific communication goals and implement them globally;
  • You will research, design and create formats, articles, interviews and presentations independently, maintain blogs and oversee events (F2F & virtual) for the GS organization and stakeholders;
  • You actively shape the communication strategy of the service area and work operationally on all communication channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or higher degree in Marketing, Journalism, communication or similar;
  • Experience in corporate communications, concept work and communication consulting required;
  • Experience in leadership and strategy communication desirable;
  • Experience in marketing or employer branding desirable;
  • Good knowledge of corporate strategy and structures as well as decision-making mechanisms. Good knowledge of leadership tasks and challenges;
  • Good communication networks required;
  • Mature skills and a high standard of quality in the editorial preparation of complex topics;
  • Very good comprehension, strong analytical skills and excellent linguistic expression;
  • Organizational skills, creativity and a high level of self-motivation;
  • Advisory skills and the ability to work in a team;
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
