Smart ID Group is looking for an experienced, hands -on Head of Marketing & Communication - a results -driven professional who combines strategic vision with the ability to execute quickly and efficiently under pressure. We’re looking for someone creative, motivated, and accountable, with at least 10 years of experience across the full marketing spectrum: strategy, PR, internal communication, digital & eCommerce, events, and performance reporting.
The ideal candidate is both a strategist and a doer - capable of transforming complex objectives into impactful campaigns that enhance brand visibility, trust, and business growth across the group’s verticals: retail, manufacturing, logistics, HoReCa, and utilities.
- Lead marketing strategy and execution across all Smart ID Group brands (Smart ID Technology, SmartScan, Lockerly, and software solutions);
- Align Marketing, PR, External and Internal Communication activities with group business objectives and growth targets;
- Design and monitor KPIs and ROI across all Marketing channels; ensure data -driven reporting and swift decision -making;
- Manage and optimize both proprietary and co -marketing budgets for maximum efficiency and performance.
- Spearhead the group’s eCommerce Marketing strategy, including SEO, Google Ads, remarketing, and conversion funnel optimization with focus on performance and lead generation;
- Develop and execute cross -industry digital campaigns that drive awareness and lead generation.
- Ensure unified brand storytelling across online platforms, newsletters, and Social Media;
- Collaborate with technical and sales teams to strengthen category positioning and product visibility.
- Drive external communication and media relations to reinforce Smart ID Group’s reputation as a trusted technology partner;
- Develop and manage co -marketing initiatives with strategic OEM partners to boost joint market presence;
- Oversee the creation of impactful PR content, press releases, and executive interviews.
- Lead internal communication programs to foster engagement, alignment, and transparency across teams;
- Promote employer branding and internal culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the marketing team across the group’s entities, encouraging participative leadership and professional growth;
- Coordinate external agencies (creative, SEO, performance) to ensure strategic alignment and flawless execution;
- Maintain high standards in brand consistency, tone of voice, and design coherence across all channels.
The ideal candidate demonstrates:
- Proven ability to lead and execute complex marketing programs in a fast -paced environment;
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills;
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to track performance and optimize spend for ROI;
- Empathy and leadership that empower teams and build trust;
- High adaptability, creativity, and drive to deliver under pressure.
- Minimum 10 years of marketing experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership position;
- Strong expertise in marketing strategy, PR, digital & eCommerce, communication, and events;
- Experience coordinating agencies, managing budgets, and reporting KPIs;
- Hands -on experience with SEO, Google Ads, social media, and digital analytics;
- Excellent command of English; Romanian fluency required;
- Experience in B2B or technology sectors is a strong plus.
