Head of Production

We are looking for a Head of Production for our plant in Codlea.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the strategic planning of the department by breaking down and/or developing the department’s strategic planning over a short/medium-term time horizon;


• Planning and managing the budget within the area of responsibility, in coordination with the superior, and ensuring compliance with it;


• Ensuring the production of all parts/components/assemblies at the location with the highest possible efficiency and in accordance with customer requirements regarding quantity, deadline, quality and cost, in line with DRX internal strategic and operational specifications.


• Developing and implementing personnel planning, including from a strategic perspective, within the area of responsibility, in coordination with the superior, and ensuring employees are assigned according to their qualifications;


• Professional and disciplinary management of subordinate personnel and making personnel-related decisions in cooperation with the Human Resources department


• Developing department-specific targets for employees, breaking down and prioritizing department targets, tracking targets and assessing their achievement;


• Conducting regular meetings and inspections to increase quality, contributing to short-term remediation and corrective measures;


• Presenting proposals for annual planning regarding required investments, capacity and personnel needs, taking quality requirements into account.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Studied mechanical engineering/ manufacturing technology/ industrial engineer);


• 7-10 years of experience in a production environment;


• Several years of professional experience after completing training and experience in personnel management;


• Advanced level of English, German language is an advantage;


• Process oriented thinking, willingness to learn, leadership and communication skills;


• Goal orientated, analytical skills and  problem solving skills.
