IN & Voice Service Platforms Engineer with German

Engineer 2nd Line of IN & Voice Service Platforms in a multi-vendor environment. Preventive and corrective second level troubleshooting ensuring quality and continuity of service and the restoring time for virtualized Service Applications. With these activities you will have a great impact on our business: In case of incident, assure trouble shooting analysis and all repair actions, including vendor support escalation, in order to achieve service restoration of impacted applications. Perform proactive maintenance activities to prevent incidents and constantly optimize the network, e.g. Daily Walkthroughs and Health checks for Service applications/platforms. Take corrective measures based on performance management and indicators trend analysis. Assure planned work activities, network rollout, software upgrades and parameter changes ensuring quality of service and avoiding regression on service and platforms functionalities. Assure Service Level Agreements and Service-KPIs with involved internal and external partners. Responsibilities include managing security protocols, conducting risk assessments, and implementing threat mitigation strategies Good knowledge of SIP protocol, SSL, TCP/IP, SNMP, RedHat Linux and RedHat Openshift Hands-on experience with Oracle DBs desirable Good knowledge of mobile network architectures 2G/4G/5G, VoLTE, operating virtualized Applications with experience in VMware.Analyse and interpret traces (Wireshark traces, network element traces, logs) Experience with scripting languages and automation tools (e.g. Python, Ansible, Shell, Perl) German (B-Level preferable, spoken and written) and English (B/C-Level, spoken and written) University degree: faculty of Electronics , Telecommunications and Information Technology 1-3 years of experience in Network Operations and Maintenance activities German (B-Level preferable, spoken and written)
