Junior Routing Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Routing Specialist to join our dynamic team in the A2P SMS industry. As a Junior Routing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations in optimizing and managing the SMS routing infrastructure, ensuring high-quality, cost-efficient message delivery. You will work closely with internal teams and external carriers to monitor traffic, resolve issues, and implement strategic routing solutions to maximize the effectiveness of our messaging services.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the configuration and management of SMS routing 


• Monitor SMS traffic and performance, ensuring smooth and efficient message delivery 


• Troubleshoot and resolve routing issues to ensure high-quality service 


• Communicate effectively with other stakeholders to optimize the routing  strategy


• Provide support in analyzing data, route optimization, performance trends, and potential areas of improvement 


• Manage all daily trading activities with your customer base, including pricing, SID registration, routing and testing requests, and similar


• Demonstrate professionalism to ensure customer satisfaction

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.


• At least 1 year of experience working in the A2P SMS industry or with telecom-related services


• Ability to work independently and in a team environment


• Good communication skills


• Problem-solving skills and proactive approach to challenges


• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools  (especially  excel)

Nice to have

• Familarity with SMS protocols (SMPP
  
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in monitoring and reporting


• Proficiency with routing platforms, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting software used in the SMS industry
