Junior Spot Buyer

1. Role Purpose

The “Spot Buyer” performs a key role working directly with prescriptors and suppliers. This mission concerns procurement of intellectual services, software and materials based on Group agreements.

2. Key Responsibilities

• “Spot Buy sourcing” consultants based on Group agreements (IT, Technical assistance, Functional assistance).


• Training & Support for Specifiers Various enquiries from specifiers and suppliers


• VMS data quality


• Defining VMS usage policies / Connecting with the VMS Admin team / Providing expert analysis and reporting to various stakeholders (Catman/GLB/Entities)


• Seasonal activity of renewal campaigns (GBS IT / ENGIE DIGITAL / GEMS & E&C)


• Processing software purchase requests


• Processing requests for the purchase of equipment

3. Key Competencies

Technical

• Knowledge of a VMS (Vendor Management System) and basic contractual elements


• Understanding of procurement procedures, governance, and digital tools

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in procurement, business, economics, or similar; procurement of intellectual services experience is a plus.

• French C1 to fluent (both written and spoken)


• English B2 to advanced (both written and spoken)
