Laboratory Manager

• manage the laboratory in the most cost-effective and safe way;
• manage of all services related to the site’s sample preparation, and analytical analysis from exploration activities;
• supervision and management in laboratory-specific assays: oversee gold analysis by fire assay; atomic absorption; sulphur analysis by Eltra or Leco.
• establish and maintain a documentation, filing, and reporting system;
• manage of sample storage area.

The Company is currently looking for a competent employee for the position LABORATORY MANAGER, for Burgas Geochem laboratory.︎️︈︈︊︂︅︀​︂︆︄︃​︁︁︎︌​︈︂︇︍​︈︆︅️︊︄︈︌︊︎︂︎



The lab facility is located at the black sea coast city of Burgas, Bulgaria. It has recently been commissioned to tender to the Mining and Geochem industry. The laboratory offers various analytical services, including sample preparation, fire assay, acid digestion, AAS, ICPOES, Sulfur and Bulk Density.





Requirements:

• chemical engineer degree;
• experience as a Lab. Manager min. 3 years;
• good organizational and communication skills. Ability to work with people, build trust and team.
• fluent in English with good written skills, other foreign language will be a plus;
• LIMS, as well as ICP, experience would be an advantage;
• Experience in data management, validation, quality control, and reporting of assay results.
• clean driving license (experienced driver);
• availability to travel in the country and/or abroad.
