Legal Specialist (Intellectual Property)

We are recruiting for one of our clients a legal specialist in the Intellectual Property department, this position is 90% remote.

• Contribute to protecting intellectual property rights (IPRs) of international clients in multiple
  jurisdictions by performing legal tasks concerning their IP portfolios;


• Handle needed formalities and ensure compliance with specific local legal requirements for
  registration and prosecution of IPRs related procedures;


• Draft and/or review legal documentation (powers of attorney, M&A or transfer agreements,
  companies’ commercial register extracts, IPRs Register extracts etc.);


• Cooperate with Intellectual Property offices, law firms and notaries worldwide;
  


• Follow-up on commitments and meet strict legal deadlines;
  


• Perform specific administrative tasks, including reporting, docketing the matters in our database
  and issuing invoices;


• Develop strong relationships and cooperate with clients and partner law firms worldwide;
  


• Communicate effectively in English, mostly by e-mail;
  


• ​Constantly expand knowledge and expertise in Intellectual Property laws and regulations.
  

Requirements

Your profile

• University graduate (preferably Law) with interest in the area of Intellectual Property;
  Fluently spoken and written English, further foreign languages knowledge are a plus;
  Excellent document writing flair, focused on meaning and legal requirements;
  Very good command of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel);
  Critical mind-set with great attention to detail;
  Service oriented towards our clients;
  Willingness to learn and ambitious towards achieving objectives;
  After the in-depth induction training, demonstrate high degree of independence and availability to take up responsibility and accept intellectual challenges;
