Network Engineer

Working method: Hybrid (2 days/week at the office)

We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our partner team and ensure a secure, resilient and compliant production environment. The role focuses on firewall rule control and recertification, guaranteeing that network flows respect security policies and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Review newly implemented firewall rules for monthly compliance.

• Monitor and report on deviations, producing monthly dashboards.

• Collaborate with business security teams, production security, and Risk Management.

• Maintain and operate filtering solutions (firewalls, WAF, Proxy, DDoS).

• Document and formalize operational procedures.

• Verify compliance of technical/application flows and escalate non-compliance.

• Organize firewall review and recertification meetings, presenting results to the IT Security Committee.

Requirements

Must-Have:

• Proven experience in network security operations and firewall rule management.

• Strong knowledge of firewall solutions (e.g., Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto) and filtering technologies (WAF, Proxy, DDoS).

• Hands-on experience with compliance and policy management tools (e.g., Tufin, DSO).

• Solid understanding of network protocols and security policy enforcement.

• Ability to produce dashboards, reporting, and compliance tracking.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with security and infrastructure teams.

• Experience in writing and maintaining operational security procedures.
• Working proficiency in French.

• Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Nice-to-Have:

• Knowledge of identity management, vulnerability management, and data protection.

• Experience in financial services IT security.

• Familiarity with risk management frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls).
