Operational Excellence Coordinator

We are building a new Control Tower team within our growing 4PL business, and we're looking for ambitious, detail-oriented professionals who want to be part of an exciting new venture from day one.

As an Operational Excellence Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by managing customer orders, coordinating transactions, maintaining data accuracy, and supporting supply chain execution across multiple regions and systems.

You will be responsible for:

Order Management and Transactional Execution

• Create and manage scheduled lines in accordance with approved SOPs.

• Generate outbound deliveries within established service standards.

• Process replenishment, spares, and return orders within defined workflows.

• Monitor order progression from sales order through completion.

• Confirm proof of delivery and perform goods receipt postings in SAP.

• Work accurately across SAP and supporting customer, transport, or reporting platforms as required by the operating model.

Operational Reporting and Handover

• Support daily operational reporting and status updates.

• Execute shift handovers using approved exception and activity logs.

• Maintain continuity across shifts, regions, and time zones by ensuring open activities are clearly documented.

• Provide accurate activity updates to support operational visibility and workflow prioritisation.

Exception Support and Process Compliance

• Identify, document, and escalate operational exceptions that fall outside defined SOPs or require Specialist intervention.

• Support operational execution by ensuring data accuracy, task completion, and adherence to agreed process steps.

• Follow approved SOPs and checklists to ensure consistent execution of standardised Control Tower processes.

Key Performance Indicators

• Same-day outbound delivery generation within agreed cut-off times.

• Scheduled line creation accuracy.

• Order transaction processing volume and productivity.

• Transaction error rate and rework rate.

• Shift handover completeness and timeliness.

• On-time completion of assigned activities against SLA.

What we need from you:

• Experience in supply chain, logistics, customer operations, or order management.


• Working knowledge of SAP or an equivalent ERP system.


• Strong attention to detail, process discipline, and organisational skills.


• Ability to manage high transaction volumes accurately.


• Clear written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment, including defined shift patterns or regional coverage models where required.


• Comfort working within structured operational routines while maintaining flexibility as priorities change.


• Hands-on, execution-focused mindset and willingness to complete repetitive transactional activities accurately.


• Calm and organised approach under operational pressure, particularly during peak volumes or handover periods.


• Curiosity to learn customer processes, SAP transactions, and Control Tower ways of working
