In this role, you will act as the key interface between ESG business stakeholders, technology teams, data experts, vendors, and external partners, translating ESG requirements into scalable digital solutions and coordinating their implementation across multiple countries and organizational units.
You will take end-to-end ownership, from business requirements and process design through solution definition, platform integration, implementation, testing, rollout, and continuous improvement.
The technology landscape includes platforms and data sources such as SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA, Sweep, and other enterprise data, reporting, and ESG solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Take end-to-end ownership of digital solutions supporting ESG processes, reporting, and data management.
- Translate ESG business, regulatory, and reporting requirements into clear product requirements, capabilities, user stories, and implementation priorities.
- Develop and maintain the product vision, roadmap, backlog, and delivery priorities.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with Deutsche Telekom's enterprise architecture and governance principles.
- Coordinate complex ESG initiatives from requirements definition through implementation and rollout.
- Structure project scope, milestones, dependencies, responsibilities, risks, and deliverables.
- Coordinate activities across business, IT, data, architecture, security, compliance, and external delivery partners.
- Ensure transparency regarding project status, risks, dependencies, decisions, and required management actions.
- Drive issues to resolution and ensure timely escalation where necessary.
Experience:
- Min 2 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Product Owner, Project Lead, or similar role in a complex enterprise environment.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end digital transformation or IT projects involving multiple stakeholders and systems.
- Experience working in international, cross-functional, and preferably multi-vendor environments.
- Strong experience translating business requirements into technology solutions.
- Experience with enterprise data flows, system integrations, reporting, or analytics solutions.
- Good understanding of enterprise platforms and data architectures.
- Experience with or exposure to SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/BW4HANA, or comparable enterprise platforms.
- Experience with Sweep or other ESG/sustainability management platforms is a strong advantage.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
