As Production and Maintenance Manager you are responsible for the overall management of the industrial site, ensuring operational efficiency, production continuity, quality, safety and profitability. You define and implement the operational strategy in line with the company’s objectives, overseeing production and maintenance activities, managing production and maintenance teams and coordinating HSE activities.
You coordinate waste management operations, including loading, unloading, sorting and processing as well as the production of concrete and concrete elements in compliance with certified recipes, procedures, quality standards and contractual requirements. You ensure the proper operation of equipment and technical infrastructure, optimize costs and operational efficiency, achieve economic, social and environmental objectives and enforce strict compliance with HSE regulations, quality standards and all applicable legal requirements.
Description of activities:
Production and Maintenance Manager
- Planning, organizing and supervising all plant operational processes, in particular: loading, unloading, sorting and waste processing, production of concrete and precast concrete elements, internal logistics and material flow.
- Ensuring execution of production plans in compliance with quality, technological, scheduling and cost requirements.
- Defining and implementing the plant’s operational strategy in line with organizational objectives.
- Monitoring operational performance indicators and implementing corrective and optimization actions.
- Ensuring production continuity and maximum availability of installations and equipment.
Maintenance and Technical Infrastructure
- Organizing and supervising maintenance, repair and servicing activities related to plant equipment and infrastructure.
- Planning preventive actions and minimizing the risk of failures and downtime.
- Coordinating repairs, modernization projects and technical investments.
- Supervising the proper operation of machinery, equipment and technological installations.
- Ensuring technical compliance of infrastructure with legal requirements and safety standards.
Team Management
- Managing production, maintenance, logistics teams and other staff.
- Organizing the work of subordinate teams, setting objectives and monitoring performance.
- Ensuring work discipline, compliance with procedures and high organizational standards.
- Developing employee competencies.
- Building a culture of engagement, accountability and continuous improvement.
Quality, HSE and Compliance Management
- Ensuring plant operations comply with quality, environmental and occupational health and safety requirements.
- Supervising quality systems, process control and analysis of test and inspection results.
- Managing non-conformities and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Organizing activities related to occupational risk prevention and environmental protection.
- Ensuring a safe working environment and enforcing HSE standards.
Financial and Performance Management
- Responsibility for the plant budget execution and operational cost optimization.
- Analyzing financial and operational results and implementing actions to improve profitability.
- Planning and supervising investments and development projects.
- Managing technical, human and financial resources to achieve targeted results.
Business Relations and Reporting
- Maintaining ongoing cooperation with customers, suppliers, external partners and group representatives.
- Ensuring plant operations comply with contractual requirements.
- Representing the plant before administrative authorities, inspection bodies and business partners.
- Preparing operational, technical and financial reports for management.
- Ensuring proper maintenance of technical, quality and regulatory documentation.
Specific professional skills:
- Very good knowledge of industrial production processes, waste management and production of concrete and precast elements.
- Knowledge of maintenance management, operation of industrial equipment and technical infrastructure.
- Ability to manage a production plant and multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of quality systems, HSE standards and legal requirements related to industrial operations.
- Ability to analyze performance indicators and make strategic and operational decisions.
- Competencies in budget management, investments and cost optimization.
- Ability to lead optimization initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
