Role Description:

This role is part of Arcadis Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis offices globally. The GEC brings key capabilities and capacity to support our clients seamlessly around the world. This is a leadership role to take GEC towards broader ownership for the delivery of Multi-Disciplinary Mobility projects and will report directly to the GEC Director - Mobility. The person will work closely with the BA project leads to develop project delivery strategy and set-up required multi-disciplinary GEC team with an objective to bring the best of GEC and maximise GEC contribution on the project. The person will lead the delivery of major projects and establish systems and processes to standardise the delivery from GEC across the GBA. This leadership role will spearhead a team of multi-disciplinary Project Delivery Managers, Design Managers, and Information management practitioners, CDE administrators, who can take up the key delivery roles on the multi-disciplinary projects across various BA Countries.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Project Count (MEPC), Quality, and Continuous Improvement strategies and deployment of enterprise systems and solutions
  • Work with Major project directors to develop detailed program execution strategies to support the development of high-value project and program management pursuits to bring best of GEC from the outset.
  • Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for improved efficiencies through GECs central role both program-wide and in cross-organizational/GBA working, to ensure commercial viability, delivery certainty and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a diverse program team of senior specialists by recruiting, setting objectives, and reviewing performance to ensure staff are driven and have the necessary skills to deliver the program objectives.
  • Develop and implement a suite of best-practice systems and processes for GEC to be used on major projects and programs across the GBA.
  • Share resources across the world to optimize winning and delivering major projects.
  • Create a sense of shared ownership and accountability balancing this with decisiveness and holding others to account for delivery.
  • Responsible for setting delivery approach for multiple projects and plan in consultation with key stakeholders
  • Responsible for establishing project delivery plans and appropriate control mechanisms to assure delivery
  • Responsible for performance management of multiple projects, engaging with senior leadership team and Associate / Senior project managers
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of the services delivered by Arcadis, business and the industry sector to facilitate personal networking and to consolidate personal and company credibility in the industry.
  • Actively lead and drive standardisation and automation of processes for continuous improvement in Information Management practices.
  • Good understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance issues to ensure that information is managed in a responsible and secure manner.
  • Strategic thinking to align Project / Programme management with organizational goals.
  • Analytical skills to make sense of complex data and information, as well as Problem-solving skills to address challenges and find solutions
  • Qualifications & Experience:

  • The candidate should have Bachelors or master's degree. Qualifications in financial/business management, client management, innovation and leadership are highly desirable.
  • At least 10+ years of the experience in successfully pursuing and leading major programs and projects within a multinational engineering or professional services firm.
  • Preferably 20+ years of experience in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) services sector.
  • Overseas Experience is an advantage (work in other countries or project design out-sourcing company).
