Together, we achieve more.\n\nWhat are we looking for?\n\nThe Procurement Specialist is responsible for ensuring items or services are purchased from specified suppliers and are delivered seeking maximum value for the company including quality, better lead time and cost. The Procurement Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality purchasing services on a day-to-day basis according to defined procedures, respecting quantity, quality, and timing. This person ensures quality of services provided and contributes to improvement and knowledge management of purchasing processes.\n\nMain Responsibilities\n\nThese responsibilities are activities that correspond to the metro stops and key processes.\n\n * Qualify Purchasing Request by selecting the best vendor in terms of quality, price, and lead time\n * Create and Maintain Purchase Order\n * Refer the Qualification of the Purchasing request to another team if the estimated value of the purchase is out of scope\n\n\n\nAdditional Responsibilities\n\n * Follow up on any issues related to PO creation.\n * Support the user defining purchase requests when needed.\n * Dispatch selective Purchase Orders to supplier.\n * Manage day-to-day interactions with suppliers.\n * Escalate complex issues to the Team/Category Procurement Leader.\n * Perform problem solving for noncomplex issues with operations users.\n * Trigger master data updates when required and within defined limits of responsibility.\n * Track deviations and raise nonconformances in QUEST (Internal quality system).\n * Participate in continuous improvement projects.\n\n\n\n \nRequired And Desired Skills\n\nProfessional\n\n\u25aa Previous experience in transactional procurement and/or supply chain function plus but not mandatory\n\n\u25aa Previous experience in commercial negotiating with suppliers\n\n\u25aa Effective Business Communication (Written and Oral)\n\nTechnical\n\n\u25aa Ability to interact in English and potentially other language relevant in local hub (French);\n\nBehavioral\n\n\u25aa Passion for customer service\n\n\u25aa Effective at cross-functional / cross-cultural teamwork\n\n\u25aa Ability to interact with operations persons on basic technical requests\n\n\u25aa Ability to work quickly and on numerous requests simultaneously while under timeline pressures\n\nEducation\n\n\u25aa Bachelor\u2019s degree\n\nReports To\n\n\u25aa Procurement Specialist reports directly to the Category Team Lead.\n\nWhat we can offer:\n\n * Bookster - for book lovers;\n * We work hybrid, 2 days at the office and 3 days at home;\n * Meal tickets;\n * Private medical subscription - GOLD package;\n * Life insurance;\n * Company events, great office location ( near Grozavesti metro station, our office is in \"The Bridge\" buildings)\n * A culture that fosters inclusion, diversity, and innovation;\n * Market-specific training and ongoing personal development;\n * Career growth opportunities both national and international;\n * Experienced leaders to support your professional development;\n * International work environment;\n\n\n\nSLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
