Quality Assurance Manager

As a QA Manager / Senior QA Manager at GRAITEC, you will lead the quality strategy and execution across our desktop, web, API, and cloud-connected software solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring that quality is embedded throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through delivery and production support.

You will lead and develop Manual and Automation QA teams, driving a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and accountability. Working closely with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps, and other stakeholders, you will define testing strategies, oversee release quality, and ensure the effective adoption of test automation and modern Quality Engineering practices.

Given that more than 50% of GRAITEC's products are desktop-based, strong experience with desktop application testing and automation is essential. You will help shape scalable testing frameworks, improve CI/CD quality gates, and ensure consistent quality standards across multiple products and technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Manual and Automation QA teams.
• Define and execute QA strategies, standards, and best practices.
• Drive automation initiatives across desktop, web, API, and integration testing.
• Ensure quality validation is integrated into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Monitor quality KPIs, defect trends, and release readiness.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to improve product quality.
• Drive continuous improvement, test optimization, and quality transformation initiatives.
• Support the adoption of AI-assisted testing and modern Quality Engineering practices.

Required

• 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• 2+ years of experience leading QA teams, QA projects, or testing programs.
• Strong experience in test automation, including designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with automation technologies and scripting/programming languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, or similar.
• Experience driving automation strategy and increasing automation coverage across multiple products.
• Strong experience testing desktop applications.
• Experience with automated testing of desktop, web, API, and integration layers.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Experience with API testing tools and frameworks such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and Quality Engineering practices.
• Experience defining test strategies, quality metrics, release readiness criteria, and quality governance processes.
• Experience collaborating with Development, Product Management, and DevOps teams in fast-paced software environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CAD, BIM, 3D, Engineering, or Construction software.
• Experience with Azure or cloud-based platforms.
• Experience with performance, scalability, or reliability testing.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing, intelligent automation, or predictive quality analytics.
• ISTQB Advanced Certification or equivalent.
