Here is what you will do:

• Performing specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
• Proposeing approach to solve new problems encountered.
• Provideing guidance to entry level engineers.
• Developing design by gathering, correlating, and analyzing engineering data using computer software and established procedures and standards.
• When possible, collecting and analysing information from discipline and interdisciplinary project BIM models.
• Fully developing the design content by applying both design and technical knowledge to ensure the production of high-quality outputs by following project timelines.
• Participating in the interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables, including BIM spatial reviews (virtual walkthroughs and clash detection).
• Working on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations, specifications, sketches, diagrams, specific discipline BIM models, drawings, reports and tender documents. Identifying discrepancies in results and proposes an approach to solving new problems encountered.
• Performing work under the agreed-upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
• Coordinating with other discipline Engineers as applicable for the design process's continuity.
• Maintaining and developing the highest level of technical skills and abilities, ensuring the quality of model production by BIM/CAD teams for accuracy to design instructions. Coordinating with authorities for scheme approvals.            

Here's what we're looking for:

• Expert in the use of Civil3D/AutoCAD. Software accreditation will be considered favorable.
• Experience (+5 years) in Airfield/Aviation Civil Engineering Design is an absolute requirement.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Preferred Qualifications

• BEng/BSc (Civil Engineering/Transportation) or equivalent.
