The role

As an MXDR Security Engineer you’ll provide support for Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solutions. This role is crucial in helping organizations protect their endpoints, networks, and digital assets from advanced threats. This is achieved through continuous system monitoring, proactive threat detection, providing best practice recommendations, and intervening when necessary while adhering to SLAs. We are looking into all cities in Romania - if you are located in Bucharest or Brasov (the cities we have offices in), you can work from home and optionally come to the office. If you are based in any other city in Romania, the work is remote - we have the online resources to guide you through the pre-boarding & on-boarding processes and beyond.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for MXDR clients, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues reported by our software or clients, while adhering to SLAs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Development, and Quality Assurance, to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of our MXDR solutions.

  • Deliver remote and on-site training sessions for clients and partners on MXDR solution usage and best practices.

  • Work night shift (1 week/month) and provide 24x7 support to ensure continuous assistance for critical client issues.

  • Identify product improvement opportunities and provide feedback to the development team.

  • Monitor, manage, and configure our security tools, review incidents to assess urgency, and escalate incidents as necessary.

  • Respond to attacks, assess the extent of the attack and affected systems, and collect data for further analysis.

  • Prepare reports on products or services by gathering and analyzing customer information.

  • Create and deliver feedback reports to relevant departments: Quality Assurance, Development, and Marketing.

  • Provide requested information (general and customized).

  • Maintain quality standards for customer services provided.

  • Identify and implement new procedures based on client requests.

Qualifications:

  • A strong passion for cybersecurity and problem-solving.

  • 1-2 years of experience in network security, cybersecurity, or related fields.

  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Results-oriented with a track record of performance-based achievements.
