Gameloft is looking for a talented and experienced Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. If you're ready to make a real impact on the future of mobile gaming, this could be your dream opportunity!

In this role, you will:

• Lead the architectural design process: Translate complex business requirements into clear, concise, and scalable technical architectures for multiple projects across different teams.
• Champion best practices and technical excellence: Provide expert guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards, security protocols, performance optimization techniques, and Gameloft's internal best practices.
• Foster a culture of knowledge sharing: Collaborate with centers of excellence to deliver technical training and mentorship programs for other engineers, helping them grow their skills and contribute effectively.
• Drive innovation through technology: Stay ahead of the curve by identifying and researching opportunities for improving our game development process and enhancing player experiences.
• Ensure architectural alignment: Conduct architecture reviews to ensure proposed or existing solutions align with Gameloft's overall architectural vision and principles. Identify potential risks and mitigation strategies.
• Optimize costs and efficiency: Conduct cost reduction reviews/audits to identify opportunities for optimizing resource utilization and maximizing the value of our technology investments.
• Provide hands-on support: Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions by working directly with R&D teams, applying your architectural expertise to solve complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate on a strategic level: Work closely with key stakeholders across Gameloft's technology business units to define and implement our overall technology strategy.

• Proven experience in solution architecture, with a strong understanding of software design principles, distributed systems architectures, microservices, and cloud-native development practices.
• Solid knowledge of:
  • Java + Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud)
  • Python and relevant frameworks
  • NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis
  • One or more major cloud platforms: AWS (preferred), Azure, GCP
  • Containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of common challenges faced in building scalable online multiplayer experiences.
