Senior SAP Consultant

Engagement: Freelance / Contract 6-12 months/ SRL or PFA

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Consultant with strong functional expertise in Supply Chain Planning, including multi-echelon DRP, demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and eSPP integration. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of SAP SD and MM, as well as hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and decentralized eSPP setups.
This role involves delivering high-quality consulting services, supporting advanced planning processes, and ensuring seamless integration with S/4HANA environments.

Scope of Services / Key Deliverables

• Configure and support Multi-Echelon Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), including VS1 and VS2 processes.

• Handle demand planning and forecasting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.

• Set and optimize service-level targets (A/B/C segmentation, VOR).

• Configure and manage safety stock, supersession/substitution logic, phase-in/phase-out processes, and exception management.

• Utilize and enhance the Planner Workbench to support operational and tactical planning activities.

• Support Decentral eSPP integration with SAP S/4HANA, including EML components and Model Company content.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end process alignment and smooth integration activities.

• Provide best-practice recommendations across planning, inventory optimization, and SAP logistics processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as a Senior SAP Consultant, ideally within Supply Chain Planning or logistics modules.

• Proven hands-on knowledge of:

  • Multi-Echelon DRP (VS1 / VS2)

  • Demand planning & forecasting

  • Service-level target configuration

  • Safety stock & inventory strategies

  • Supersession/substitution

  • Phase-in / phase-out

  • Exception management

  • Planner Workbench

• Experience with decentral eSPP and its integration with SAP S/4HANA (EML, Model Company).

• Strong functional knowledge of SAP SD and SAP MM modules.

• Ability to translate complex planning requirements into system configurations and process improvements.
