SAP Document and Reporting Compliance Consultant Romania

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) Consultant to support the implementation and configuration of SAP DRC following a migration from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA.

The primary focus of the role is to establish and maintain statutory reporting capabilities for Romania, ensuring compliance with local tax, legal, and regulatory requirements. The role may also involve supporting future implementations and rollouts across multiple European countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and configure SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) within an SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Configure and maintain country-specific statutory and regulatory reporting functionalities for Romania.
• Analyze Romanian localization requirements and translate them into appropriate SAP DRC configurations.
• Implement relevant SAP Notes and OSS Notes to support statutory reporting requirements and resolve configuration issues.
• Assess existing reporting processes and support the transition from legacy SAP R/3 functionality to SAP S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with finance, tax, and technical teams to ensure accurate and compliant reporting processes.
• Troubleshoot SAP DRC issues and support testing, validation, and deployment activities.
• Ensure that statutory reporting solutions align with applicable local legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to potential future SAP DRC implementations and country rollouts across different European jurisdictions.
• Document configurations, implementation decisions, and reporting processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC).
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and configurations.
• Strong expertise in Romanian localization and statutory reporting requirements.
• Solid understanding of tax, statutory, and regulatory reporting processes within SAP environments.
• Experience implementing country-specific reporting solutions and applying SAP Notes/OSS Notes.
• Knowledge of the transition from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA and its impact on statutory reporting functionality.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication skills and the ability to collaborate with international stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP DRC implementations or rollouts across multiple countries.
• Knowledge of statutory reporting requirements in other European countries.
• Experience working in international SAP transformation projects.
