SAP S/4HANA Integration Lead

Project Context

The program is a Bluefield S/4HANA conversion currently in Realisation phase.

Key highlights:

• ~240 integrations/data flows:

  • Mostly direct interfaces

  • Some SAP PO

  • A few SAP CPI

• SIT planned: July 2026

• Big-bang cutover: ECC + PO S/4 + new PO

Currently, one PO/CPI/ABAP developer covers build and preparation, but the scope has grown and requires senior integration leadership.

Additionally, the Integration Workstream Lead will be on medical leave for 1–2 months, and this role will provide coverage and continuity during that period.

Role Responsibilities

• Act as the Integration Lead across the S/4HANA conversion program

• Lead customer-facing integration discussions and governance

• Drive system preparation and integration readiness

• Own cutover preparation and interface readiness planning

• Oversee and coordinate:

  • Interface inventory and tracking

  • Data flows across ECC, PO, CPI, and S/4

  • Partner agreements and connectivity

• Guide and oversee IDoc activities in S/4HANA

• Support testing phases:

  • Unit Testing (UT)

  • System Integration Testing (SIT)

  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Ensure readiness for big-bang cutover

• Provide mentoring and guidance to the integration developer(s)

• Provide temporary workstream leadership coverage as needed

Required Experience

• Strong experience as SAP Integration Lead / Architect

• Proven background in S/4HANA transformation programs

• Hands-on experience with:

  • SAP PO / PI

  • SAP CPI (Integration Suite)

  • IDocs and SAP interface frameworks

• Experience with large integration landscapes (200+ interfaces preferred)

• Strong experience in:

  • Cutover planning

  • System preparation

  • Interface governance

• Customer-facing experience in complex enterprise programs

• Ability to operate independently in global delivery environments

Nice to Have

• Experience in Bluefield / Selective Data Transition programs

• Experience working with Japanese clients or global rollouts

• Exposure to:

  • Dual landscapes (ECC S/4 coexistence)

  • Big-bang migration strategies

• Leadership experience covering workstream ownership
