Scrum Master

RIA Solutions Group is looking for a talented Scrum Master with at least 4 years experience to join our team who is developing revolutionary software solutions for a top provider in the food & beverages industry in the United States.

Our client’s mission is to help insurers and automotive companies reduce their carbon footprint, comply with regulatory standards, and enhance their sustainability credentials. Additionally, our client is recognized as a global leader in data and automotive software, providing services for vehicle claims, repair, sales, and fleets.

The approaches we use are based on Scrum/Agile methodologies; we plan, revise, review, and deploy quarterly demo updates using a Jira Scrum Board and sprints.

Preferred locations: Cluj-Napoca / Brașov / Târgu-Mureș / Iași

Responsibilities:

• Driving execution and removing impediments to maintain workflow continuity and ensure sprint goals are met


• Developing team capabilities through mentorship, Agile best practice and structured training programs


• Facilitating stakeholder collaboration via structured meetings, regular progress updates and alignment with business objectives


• Assisting the Product Owner in prioritization, refinement meetings and clarification to ensure items are actionable and aligned with sprint goals


• Driving continuous improvement through Agile metrics, stand-ups, planning, reviews, retrospectives, and action plans for sustained performance


• Tracking sprint performance, key KPIs, and transparently reporting progress, achievements, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders


• Assist in forecasting team capacity, planning resource allocation, and ensuring workload balance among team members 


• Proactively identify, assess, and address potential risks and impediments to minimize project disruptions and ensure timely delivery


• Mediate team conflicts constructively, promoting a positive and solution-oriented work environment
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or a related field


• At least 4 years experience
  


• In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile practices and principles 


• Strong ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and communications


• Data-driven approach to team performance tracking


• Proficiency in organizing and facilitating meetings, managing projects and prioritizing tasks 


• Prior knowledge of advanced project management tools and software (JIRA, Confluence etc.)


• Committed to ongoing professional development


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Collaborative team player


• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
  

Nice to have:

• Possession of a Scrum Master certification (Certified Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master or other Scrum Master Certification) 


• Demonstrated ability to prioritize the needs of the team, remove impediments, and empower team members for success


• High level of empathy, self-awareness, and interpersonal skills to foster a supportive team environment
