In our Accounting Division we manage end to end finance, accounting, and tax processes for small, medium and international clients. In order to further expand our fast-growing offering, we are looking for a General Ledger Accountant who will help us to support organizations in outsourcing finance, accounting and tax processes.

Main responsibilities & duties

• Checks and validates that the entries in the accounting system are in line with the applicable reporting requirements. Journal entries for non Accounts Payables/Accounts Receivables


• Performs month-end and year-end closing operations in accordance with the statutory reporting requirements


• Manages accruals and prepayments


• Collaborates with the client representative for the ERP/reporting system customization.


• Review the annual statutory financial statements and the half-yearly accounting records


• Review the monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns for VAT and corporate tax as applicable.


• Timely identify possible accounting and tax compliance issues and communicate s these to manager or Partner.


• Coordinates the accounting assistant/team and provide guidance on the accounting and tax work.

Requirements & Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following basic qualifications:

• Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.


• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills.


• Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment


• Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.


• Dedicated to superior client service.


• Strong organizational skill and attention to detail

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years recent work experience as an accountant in a company or accounting firm.


• Proficiency in accounting software systems and ERPs.


• Excel advanced level.

Education and Licenses:

• University degree in Economics.


• Advanced degree is highly desirable, but not mandatory.


• CECCAR certification (active) preferred or working toward if not already obtained.
